Hunt: Showdown
|
Hunt: Showdown is an upcoming survival horror video game in development and to be published by Crytek. The game was originally in development at Crytek USA, who wished to create a spiritual successor to Darksiders—a video game series developed by their predecessor, Vigil Games—under the title Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. After the initial announcement in June 2014, Crytek USA was shut down due to financial issues, and the development was brought to the Crytek headquarters. The game, under the new title Hunt: Showdown, was re-announced in May 2017. Hunt: Showdown was launched on Steam in early access on February 22, 2018
The following guns are seen in the early access version Hunt: Showdown:
Handguns
Colt Open Top
The Colt Open Top revolver appears as the "Caldwell Conversion Pistol". Although it has the overall appearance of an Open Top, it has an octagonal barrel like a Colt 1851 Navy Conversion, and the cylinder and loading gate is very similar to the Single Action Army. There are couple variants of the gun including one that replaces the cylinder with a chain of ammo.
Colt Walker Conversion
Another variant of the "Caldwell Conversion Pistol" called the "Caldwell Conversion Uppercut", takes the standard revolver and enlarges it, and best resembles a cartridge conversion of a Colt Walker.
Nagant M1895
The Russian Nagant M1895 revolver appears as the "Nagant M1895" and there are several variants like one with a suppressor, shoulder stock, and brass knuckles.
Sharps Pepperbox
The Sharps Pepperbox appears as the "Quad Derringer".
Mauser C96
The German Mauser C96 appears as the "Dolch 96" and a variant with a shoulder stock can be obtained.
Rifles
Winchester M1873
The Winchester M1873 appears as the "Winfield M1873" and there are several variants including a light weight version, one with optics, and one modified to accept a speed loader.
Sharps 1874
The Sharps 1874 appears as the "Sparks LLR".
Vetterli Carbine
The Swiss Vetterli M1869/71 Carbine appears as the "Vetterli 71 Karabiner" and a variant with a bayonet can be obtained.
Mosin-Nagant M1891
The Mosin-Nagant M1891 appears as the "Mosin-Nagant M1891" and it appears to be mostly based on the 3rd configuration of the M1891 infantry rifle due to having a front sling swivel, an upper handguard, and an open blade front sight. It also has rear sight similar to a M1891/30 and a curved pistol grip like the Finnish M39. There are several variants including one with a bayonet, an "Obrez" version, and one modified to be fully automatic.
Double Rifle
A double rifle, possibly a Holland & Holland, appears as the "Nitro Express Rifle".
Shotguns
Colt M1878
The Colt M1878 Coach Gun appears as the "Caldwell Rival 78" and a sawed-off variant can be obtained.
Spencer 1882
The Spencer 1882 appears as the "Specter 1882".
Single Shot Shotgun
A Single Shot Shotgun appears as the "Romeo 77" and there are several variants including a sawn-off version, one with a melee capability, and one with a hatchet attached.
Browning Auto-5
The Browning Auto-5 appears as the "Crown & King Auto-5".
