M1 Garand
M1 Garands are used by a vast majority of the US Marines in the film including Medic John "Doc" Bradley (Ryan Phillippe), Corporal Rene Gagnon (Jesse Bradford), Corporal Harlon Block (Benjamin Walker), Private First Class Ralph "Iggy" Ignatowski (Jamie Bell), Pfc. Franklin Sousley (Joseph Cross), and Sergeant Hank Hansen (Paul Walker).

a portable Flamethrower used by and infantryman. As a range of about 30 meters and a burntime of 7 seconds. This is used by Corporal Charles W. Lindberg (Alessandro Mastrobuono) to burn a pillbox during the beach scene.
Mark 2 Fragmentation Hand Grenade
This is used by a Marine to try and clear a pillbox.

Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun
The "woodpecker" is seen mounted inside the pillboxes.
Type 99 Light Machine Gun
This weapon is seen used in the pillboxes and in the ambush scene.

Type 99 Rifle
This weapon is used by the Ambushing IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) troops during the first flag raising.
