I have seen that comment about Rossi's use of the .45 as opposed to the 9mm used by the BAU as being an indication that he was, at one point or another HRT, and for my two cents I think there is a different explanation. Throughout the character's involvement in the series several mentions are made that Rossi is 'old school' FBI and, again in my opinion, the use of the .45 is an indication of that. | + | :I have actually just deleted the line speculating about him being ex HRT from all of the pages of this show as the pistol in question is not a TRP, but rather a Springfield Custom Professional which is not officially used by the FBI in any capacity. Springfield Armory TRP
I have seen that comment about Rossi's use of the .45 as opposed to the 9mm used by the BAU as being an indication that he was, at one point or another HRT, and for my two cents I think there is a different explanation.
