Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appear in the video game Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie:
M1928 Thompson
The Tommy Gun is capable of firing a 50 round drum, first used just before the first V-Rex attack.
Gewehr 98
The Gewehr 98 is capable of firing long distance and is used as a sniper ingame. It is first available at the point that you need to wait for Carl and Hayes to lower a bridge. It is obvious that this was one of the rifles favored by the Germans in WWI. Like the Luger in the game, Englehorn likely acquired it from either war surplus or stole it during the First World War.
The only thing is the bolt is only cranked when reloading, it fires like it's semi-automatic. Reloading itself is rather odd, as only one round is loaded into the rifle.
Winchester Model 1897
The Winchester 1897 is first capable of being used at the end of the first level and is then used to blast away giant enemy crabs.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is the German pistol of WWI. It is available sometime at the Start of the Game. http://static.gamesradar.com/images/mb/GamesRadar/us/Games/P/Peter%20Jacksons%20King%20Kong/Bulk%20Viewers/PC/KING%20KONG_Survival_79--screenshot.jpg
