Hombre is the classic 1967 Western starring Paul Newman as John Russell, a white man raised by Apache Indians who now must try to assimilate back into the non-Indian culture. He also must endure prejudice from the fellow passengers he is traveling with. When the stagecoach is ambushed, the passengers must now depend on Russell to survive. The film was directed by Martin Ritt and based on a novel by Elmore Leonard (who also wrote Get Shorty).

The following weapons were used in the film Hombre:

Single Action Army

As with most westerns, the Single Action Army is the most prominently used gun in the film.

Colt Single Action Army w/ 4.75" barrel, case colored and blued, referred to as "Quick-Draw" or "Civilian" model.

Winchester 1873

John Russell (Paul Newman) carries a Winchester Model 1873 with a shortened magazine.

Winchester Model 1873 carbine - 1st generation rifle - 44-40 Cal.

Winchester 1892

Members of Cicero's gang are seen using the Winchester Model 1892 rifle.

Colt Lightning Shopkeeper

When Cicero's gang robs the stagecoach, they find what appears to be a Colt Lightning Shopkeeper revolver on Dr. Favor (Fredric March).
