Best Seller is a 1987 thriller starring Brian Dennehy as a cop turned author who meets up with a mysterious hitman (James Woods) who gives him a story that he promises will be an instant bestseller.
The following weapons were used in the film Best Seller:
Beretta 92SB
The main handgun used by the hitman Cleve (James Woods) is a Beretta 92SB. Cop turned best-selling author Dennis Meechum (Brian Dennehy) also is using one as well.

Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special"
The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is the onduty revolver carried by Meechum. It also is the gun taken off Mr. Pearlman (Jeffrey Josephson) by Meechum at the police station.
Browning Hi-Power
Suppressed Browning Hi-Powers are carried by the gunmen wearing Nixon masks that pull the heist at the police lockup at the beginning of the film. In a continuity error, Cleve starts out using a Browning during the shootout at the industrial laundry, but it later turns into a Beretta SB.
