Latest revision as of 07:31, 2 November 2021
The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS continues to be the handgun carried by Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) in Season 2. John handles the Beretta during "Today Is the Day" (S2E19)
AMT Hardballer .45 Longslide
What appears to be an AMT Hardballer Longslide with laser sighting (the signature weapon carried by Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator) is used by the T-888 (Patrick Kilpatrick) that hunts Martin Bedell throughout "Goodbye to All That" (S2E05). Summer Glau is also seen holding one in several promotional images for the show.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is used throughout Season 2.
Ruger P90
Jesse (Stephanie Jacobsen) is seen wielding her Ruger P90 at Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) since she thinks she's not safe in "Tower Is Tall But the Fall Is Short" (S2E06). She also pulls it in Brothers of Nablus" (S2E07) (since a Ruger P90 is a cheap and accurate gun, it is a solid choice for a soldier from the future that's new to buying guns). John Connor handles the Ruger during "Today Is The Day(S2E19)", after taking it from Jesse.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
In the Season 2 opening, Cameron (Summer Glau) is seen dual-wielding a Heckler & Koch USP Compact and a Glock 17.
Heckler & Koch USP Expert
In "Adam Raised a Cain" (S2E21), a T-888 Terminator disguised as a water delivery man (Jeffrey Pierce) carries two Heckler & Koch USP Expert handguns, one one of which has a threaded barrel in the attack on the daughter of Catherine Weaver. Later, both USP's have suppressors on them.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 15
Mexican law enforcement are seen drawing their Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolvers against Cromartie in "Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today" (S2E08).
Smith & Wesson Model 66
A Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver is seen in the home of Dixon home in "Automatic for the People" (S2E02). FBI Special Agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) holds the revolver later in the episode.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
The Heckler & Koch MP5A2 is used by Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) and Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) to create a diversion for Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) to kill Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) with a real plan in "Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today" (S2E08).
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) uses a Heckler & Koch MP5K with a Glock 17 as his sidearm in "Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today" (S2E08).
Heckler & Koch UMP
A hitman was seen armed with a Heckler & Koch UMP to try to kill Sarah in "To the Lighthouse" (S2E20). In the series finale "Born to Run", prison guards had this weapons as well.
IMI Mini Uzi
A Mini Uzi is used by a gunman on a motorcycle to assault Sarah Connor in "Earthlings Welcome Here" (S2E13).
M1921 Thompson
A T-888 Terminator known as Myron Stark (Todd Stashwick) overshoots his time travel target and is sent to the 1920s. Sticking to the weapons of the time, the Terminator robs several banks with a M1921 Thompson and when Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) finds him hiding in the building in the present, she takes the M1921 Thompson and empties it into him before destroying him in "Self Made Man" (S2E11).
Shotguns
Remington 870 (Extended Magazine and Folding Stock)
In the series, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) apparently kept her Remington 870 with Extended Magazine and a Folding Stock she used in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In Season 2, Sarah concealed her shotgun again, this time deep in a umbrella rack in Season 2's premiere "Samson & Delilah" (S2E01). Sarah uses the Remington again when Michelle (Sonya Walger), the wife of Charley Dixon (Dean Winters), gets kidnapped by Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) in "Mouse Trap" (S2E03). John Connor (Thomas Dekker) gets his mother's shotgun from under the sink when Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) searches for him at his home in "Brothers of Nablus" (S2E07). This also is the shotgun seen in the hands of Sarah Connor in the opening montage seen at the beginning of several Season 2 episodes.
Remington 870
Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) has a basic Remington 870 in "Alpine Fields" (S2E12).
Benelli M1 Super 90
In Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today (S2E08), Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) shoots Cromartie (Garret Dillahunt) in his metal head with a semi-automatic Benelli M1 Super 90 to disable the CPU chip that functions like a human brain when Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) and Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) create a diversion with their Heckler & Koch MP5A2's. Hers is fitted with a pistol grip stock and a Surefire dedicated foreend weaponlight.
Ithaca 37
In Season 2's Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today (S2E08), John is seen loading an Ithaca 37 shotgun while riding in Cromartie's car.
Assault Rifles
Colt M16A2
The Colt M16A2 is the rifle used for target practice by the cadets at the P Alto Military Prep School in "Goodbye to All That" (S2E05). In the episode, a rifle jams at a firing range and John Connor (Thomas Dekker) helps a student clear the jam by reciting the acronym (SPORTS) ("Slap, Pull, Observe, Release, Tap, Shoot").
in "Automatic For The People" (S2E02) The plant supervisor escorts Sarah & Cameron through the power station. Whilst walking, Cameron scans a guard's ID badge. The guard is holding an identical Colt M16A2.
Colt M4A1
Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) is seen using a Colt M4A1 fitted with a RIS foregrip and M68 Aimpoint scope while Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) orders her to check the perimeter when their home is breached in "Automatic for the People" (S2E02). Later in the episode, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) steals a Colt M4A1 at the nuclear powerplant to stop another Terminator from the future posing as Paul Greenway (Paul Schulze).
AKMS
In a flashback, Sarah is seen carrying an AKMS while in the jungle in "To the Lighthouse" (S2E22).
Ruger Mini-14
In "To the Lighthouse" (S2E22), Charley Dixon (Dean Winters) uses a Ruger Mini-14 when he and John head for the boat.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M82
In Season 2's "Goodbye to All That" (S2E05), Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) uses a Barrett M82A1 at the P Alto Military Prep School scouting and shooting a T-888 Terminator (Patrick Kilpatrick). Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) shows John Connor (Thomas Dekker) the ammo for his M82 is a "Raufoss Mk 211 round, tungsten core, armor piercing, high explosive, incendiary, hits with the force of a 20mm cannon".
Launchers
M79 grenade launcher
Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) is seen with an M79 grenade launcher during one of the future war sequences. She uses it to destroy a rogue Terminator (Chris Gann) in "Dungeons and Dragons" (S1E06). Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) is seen carrying one during the rescue of Charley Dixon's (Dean Winters) wife in "Mouse Trap" (S2E03).
M141 SMAW-D
A Resistance fighter is seen firing an M141 SMAW-D at a Terminator Hunter-Killer in "Automatic for the People" (S2E02).
Other
Gun Shop Weapons
In the series finale "Born to Run" (S2E22), the T-888 (Jeffrey Pierce) is seen entering a gun store where several rifles are displayed.
