Like Season 1, Season 3 of Archer kicked off in September along with its FX stablemate It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, only this time with a three-parter that picked up right where the second season left off. The rest of the season 3 episodes would not air until January of 2012.
The following weapons were used in Season 3 of the animated series Archer:
Handguns
Walther PPK
Sterling Archer's primary sidearm is a Walther PPK. According to a DVD special feature and the companion book How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written, his PPK is chambered in .32 ACP.
Special
Springfield M1911-A1 Mil-Spec
Desert Eagle Mark VII
Román Calzado uses a Desert Eagle Mark VII in "El Contador" (S03E05).
Beretta 92F
Like in the first two seasons, Lana Kane sometimes carries a pair of Beretta 92F pistols in a shoulder rig.
Webley Mk IV
Real and fake Canadian Mounties are seen armed with Webley Mk IV in "The Limited" (S03E06).
Smith & Wesson Model 629
Malory is seen with her Smith & Wesson Model 629 in "Drift Problem" (S03E07).
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
Burt Reynolds is armed with a Double Barreled Shotgun in "The Man from Jupiter" (S03E04).
Mossberg 500
Ray's brother Randy uses a Mossberg 500 in "Bloody Ferlin" (S03E09). Archer and Ray also briefly carry similar Mossberg 500s.
Submachine Guns
TEC-9
Lana's primary weapon remains the TEC-9 in Season 3.
Uzi
Another Cuban hit squad is seen armed with Uzis in "The Man from Jupiter" (S03E04). The Yakuza have them in "Drift Problem" (S03E07).
Walther MPL
Archer poses with a stockless Walther MPL submachine gun on the cover art, but does not use it at any point in the season.
Rifles
AK-47
The AK-47 shows up numerous times during the series. They appear to be based on real AK-47s, with the milled receiver and open-topped front sight.
M14
Cyril and Calzado hunt for Archer and Lana with M14s in the Colombian jungle before Cyril catches up with Lana in "El Contador" (S03E05). Randy Gillette has one in "Bloody Ferlin" (S03E09) that fires full auto.
XM16E1
Archer and Lana carry XM16E1 rifles in "El Contador" (S03E05). They are armed with them again in "Drift Problem" (S03E07). Like all the other guns, the animators often mix up the sides. Police in Ray's hometown use M16s when confronting Ray's brother Randy in "Bloody Ferlin" (S03E09).
Machine Guns
Hybrid M60
In "Heart of Archness Pt.III" (S03E03) Lana fires on pirates with a hybrid M60 door gun from a UH-1 Huey. This M60 has spade grips like a M60D but still retains the forward hand guard.
Browning M1919
A pair of Browning M1919 machine guns deploy from the grill of the Dodge Challenger Special Agent Edition in "Drift Problem".
Grenades/Explosives
Mk 2 hand grenade
Mk 2 hand grenades are seen throughout the season, sometimes as frags and sometimes as flash-bangs, although the same animation model is used.
M18 Smoke Grenade
M18 Smoke Grenades are always seen in gear bags.
M18A1 Claymore
Archer disarms an M18A1 Claymore in "El Contador" (S03E05).
M67 hand grenade
Lana carries a pair of M67 hand grenades in "El Contador" (S03E05).
M26 hand grenade
Archer has a black M26 hand grenade in "El Contador" (S03E05).
RPG-7
Pirates are armed with RPG-7s in ""Heart of Archness, Part III" (S03E03).
Miscellaneous
Orion Flare Gun
Rip Riley threatens Archer with an Orion Flare Gun in "Heart of Archness, Part I" (S03E01).
Oerlikon 20mm Cannon
The main armament of the pirate ship appears to be an Oerlikon 20mm Cannon in "Heart of Archness, Part I" (S03E01).
Palmer Cap-Chur Short Range Projector
Krieger uses a Palmer Cap-Chur Short Range Projector tranquillizer gun in "El Contador" (S03E05).
"M41 Mark 2 Plasma Pulse Rifle"
The "M41 Mark 2 Plasma Pulse Rifle" is used by ISIS and mutineers in the two part episode "Space Race". It has an underbarrel concussion grenade launcher. It somewhat resembles (and appears to be an homage to) the M41A Pulse Rifle from Aliens.
"Ion Cannon"
The mutineers on the Horizon fire a bazooka-like "ion cannon" towards the ISIS team in "Space Race: Part II" (S03E12).
SS-1 Scud missile
Two SS-1 Scud transporter erector launcher are shown in "Space Race: Part I" (S03E12).
