The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series The Closer:
Handguns
Glock 26
Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick) carries the Glock 26 as her sidearm. Detective Irene Daniels (Gina Ravera) carried the Glock 26 as well from seasons 1 through 4.
Glock 19
Lt. Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan) carries the Glock 19 as his duty weapon. A Glock is also found at a crime scene in "Blue Blood" (S2E01).
Beretta 92FS
Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey), Detective Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) and Sgt. David Gabriel (Corey Reynolds) carry the LAPD's previously standard issue Beretta 92FS as their onduty sidearms.
Beretta 92F Non Gun
In "Overkill" (S2E13), the Beretta Non Gun is used in some scenes instead of the 92FS.
Ruger P94
A fleeing suspect appears to pull a Ruger P94 in "Mom Duty" (S2E02).
Smith & Wesson 4516
Beginning in Season 2, Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison) carries as his sidearm what appears to be a Smith & Wesson 4516 in .45 ACP.
Smith & Wesson 639
A Smith & Wesson 639 is found at a crime scene in "Blue Blood" (S2E01).
Colt Detective Special
A Colt Detective Special is used in "Heroic Measures" (S2E09).
SIG-Sauer P229
FBI Special Agent Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney) carries a SIG-Sauer P229 as his sidearm. In what appears to be a continuity error, Det. Provenza pulls a SIG-Sauer P229 as his sidearm in "Aftertaste" (S2E04).
Shotguns
Remington 870
In "Serving the King, Part 2" (S2E15), an L.A.P.D. SIS detective is seen with what appears to be a Wilson Customized Remington 870 shotgun. This is factually correct as the LAPD has now issued the Remington 870 to replace the classic Ithaca 37 in the department.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
An L.A.P.D. SIS detective is seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with dedicated forend weaponlight in "Serving the King, Part 1" (S2E14).
