Special Destination Force (Otryad osobogo naznacheniya) is a 1978 Soviet war movie directed by Vadim Lysenko. The story takes place in Summer 1942. A Soviet special detachment under the command of Major Ozyoryn is sent to German rear in order to destroy a secret Soviet rocket system that could fall into enemy hands.

Khaidurov TOZ-36
A TOZ-36 sporting revolver is a personal sidearm of Major Ozyoryn (Leonhard Merzin). In reality this revolver appeared only in 1962. This is a rather strange choice, obviously made only for the "cinema effect".

Viktor Grachyov (Leonid Shumskiy) and Ivan Prokopenko (Pavel Remezov) carry Margolin MTs pistols. In reality this pistol appeared only in 1948.
Tokarev TT-33
Ozyoryn (Leonhard Merzin), Gudzha Babluani (Elgudzha Burduli) and Marina Strelnikova (Marina Troshina) carry Tokarev TT-33 pistols. During the shootout in the swamp Ozyoryn fires his TT akimbo with TOZ-36 revolver.
Luger P08
Ivan Prokopenko (Pavel Remezov) takes a Luger P08 from a German officer and uses it himself.
Submachine Guns
MP40
German soldiers are armed with MP40 SMGs. Soviet commandos widely use captured MP40s.
