Saints and Soldiers is a 2003 World War II action drama directed by Ryan Little and follows US soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge as they try to help a downed British pilot to get back to the Allied lines. The film was the first of three films in this series, which included Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed and Saints and Soldiers: The Void.

The M1 Garand is used by Cpl. Nathan "Deacon" Greer (Corbin Allred) in the flashback and in the second half of the film. Also used by medic Steven Gould (Alexander Polinsky) and S/Sgt. Gordon Gunderson (Peter Holden). The majority of the US soldiers also carry the M1.
