The Girl in the Spider's Web is a 2018 mystery thriller that is adapted from the fourth novel in the Millennium series that began with the The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The film, which is set in the same universe as the US-made 2011 adaptation, was co-written and directed by Fede Álvarez and stars Claire Foy as the Swedish hacker Lisabeth Salander, a role previously portrayed on film by Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara.
