The successor to 2015's Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars Battlefront II brings the first- and third-person action shooter gameplay to the wider Star Wars universe, incorporating the Clone Wars of the original games and the First Order - Resistance War of the new trilogy. Published by EA and primarily the work of DICE, Battlefront II also features a single player story made directed by Motive Studios, and offline arcade and split screen modes for consoles.

Although the game lacked a season pass, the incorporation of microtransactions that allowed players to gain an advantage in gameplay upon the game's release was a huge subject of controversy (prompting government-level responses against gambling by Belgium, the Netherlands, and the US State of Hawaii). The system was quickly disabled and eventually overhauled to a linear progression system in the 2.0 patch. Unlike the last game, the multiplayer also incorporates a familiar four-class system of "Assault," "Heavy," "Officer," and "Specialist" and further refined specialty classes, vehicles, and heroes depending on the faction.

Many of the game's blasters are almost-identical virtual replicas of the prop weapons used in the films of the original trilogy, and a few of the new weapons created by DICE appear to have been based off of real-world small arms.

The Sonn-Blas SE-44 blaster pistol from The Sequel Trilogy appears in the game in two forms - the "SE-44," which is the model issued to First Order Officers and then the white-clad "SE-44C" model that is the final blaster unlock of the Officer class. Both are modeled off a Glock 17 in the FAB Defense KPOS carbine conversion chassis with the stock removed and a conical muzzle end.

Appearing as the default blaster rifle of the Rebel Alliance, the "A280C" now more closely resembles the M16-based blaster prop from Return of the Jedi although it has the tube frame stock of the StG-44 variant shown below. A sniper variant is also available to the Specialist class as its second blaster unlock, known as the A280-CFE.

BlasTech A280 and DLT-20A (StG-44)
The "A280C" from the previous game returns simply as the "A280" and is the first blaster unlock of the Assault class. It still closely resembles the StG-44-derived A295 rifle seen on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. The A280 also fires in three-shot bursts this time around. Bizarrely, the "Improved Cooling" specialization gives it a 20-round M16 magazine and the "Improved Range" specialization replaces the barrel assembly with that of a Karabiner 98k, cleaning rod included.

The Sturmgewehr 44-based DLT-20A Pulse Cannon also returns, this time as a conventional "Targeting Rifle" and issued to Rebel markswomen.

The MG34-based DLT-19 series of blasters returns in Battlefront II. The base variant is used by Imperial heavies, while Scout Troopers wield the -19X sniper version and First Order sharpshooters wield the new -19D variant.

The TL-50 Heavy Repeater

I don't know if this is 100% true but from my observations the TL-50 Heavy Repeater Blaster Rifle looks to a hybrid of a Kel-Tec KSG, and some kind of light belt-fed machine, and a Sterling SMG. But I could be wrong.

See the Talk:Star Wars Battlefront page. I don't believe it has enough of a recognizable silhouette of a real firearm to be listed on the main page. Though now that you mention it, it does have a similar muzzle end to the Kel-Tec.--AgentGumby (talk) 10:20, 23 November 2019 (EST)
