While largely custom made (the handle, for example, is "a Waterjet piece clad with the custom wooden grips"), a large part of the barrel of the "Blunderbuss" is the Yankee Hill Machine Company YHM-5005 12.520" Smooth Series Forearm (Rifle Length) with hand-machined parts on the front and rear of the forearm. The front of the barrel also features what is most likely a Yankee Hill Machine Company YHM-262 Fixed Bipod Stud. |

Looper is a 2012 American action/science-fiction film written and directed by Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi). Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Joe, a hitman who works in the year 2044 as a "Looper", a specialist in eliminating individuals who have been sent back in time from 2074. Joe's world begins to fall apart when he recognizes that one of his targets is his older self (portrayed by Bruce Willis) and allows him to escape. The film's cast included Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels.
The following weapons were used in the film Looper:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Shotguns
Futuristic "Blunderbuss" Shotgun
The main weapon used by Loopers in the film like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Seth (Paul Dano) is a futuristic shotgun dubbed the "Blunderbuss". The pump-action firearm is fitted with a futuristic barrel sheath. It bears a close resemblance to the 18th Century firearm it takes its name from. The weapon is mentioned by Kid Blue (Noah Segan) to be short-ranged, capable only of hitting targets 15 paces away, but unlike a real Blunderbuss, it is capable of firing multiple rounds.
Remington 870 Wingmaster
Sara (Emily Blunt) uses a Remington 870 Wingmaster to protect her farm from intruders. She specifically mentions that the shotgun is a Remington 870.
Mossberg 590 Cruiser
When a thief tries to steal a suitcase, a man draws and fires what appears to be a Mossberg 590 Cruiser.
Handguns
Magnum Research BFR
