I identified Spiratos' revolver as Ruger Speed Six but now I'm in a doubt. While the revolver looks Ruger-style (the shape of ejector rod shroud, the front sight and general shape, less angular than the one of Colt or S&W), it seems to be 5-shot, not 6. So what can it be? Need help, thanks in advance! Greg-Z (talk) 12:58, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

: Definitely not a Ruger Six-series since it is indeed a 5-shot and also the ejector shroud ends shorter under the barrel than a Ruger Six snubbie as well. As to what it could be, haven't the foggiest right this minute - It's not a Ruger SP101 (or rather a Kimar clone of it, as real SP101s are stainless-only AFAIK) since again, the shroud is off. I figure it's gotta be something of French manufacture, but can't put my finger on it. StanTheMan (talk) 14:00, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Strange revolver

I identified Spiratos' revolver as Ruger Speed Six but now I'm in a doubt. While the revolver looks Ruger-style (the shape of ejector rod shroud, the front sight and general shape, less angular than the one of Colt or S&W), it seems to be 5-shot, not 6. So what can it be? Need help, thanks in advance! Greg-Z (talk) 12:58, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Thanks, I'll continue to search for correct gun. The movie was filmed in Greece so it can be a revolver of any manufacturing. Greg-Z (talk) 00:36, 3 July 2015 (EDT)
