Movie appereances

I don't know who wrote the part that there are no Jatimatics currently in US movie armories, but I don't think that's true. Jatimatic, altough a commercial failure, was mostly sold as an export product. There were a few hundred pieces made (some sources say anywhere from 300 to 1000 pieces), and most of them found their way overseas. The Finnish government revoked TAO's license for selling weapons in 1985, mainly because of Finland's extremely strict rules on weapon exporting. That was a major factor in why TAO went broke, and before it went bankrubt, Jali Timari (the designer of the weapon) was even convicted for weapons smuggling.

I think I have seen the Jatimatic in movies in the 2010s, most notably From Paris with Love. Can't remember any other appereances off the top of my head... --Warejaws (talk) 14:06, 6 March 2015 (EST)
