Escape from Sobibor is a British 1987 war drama directed by Jack Gold. The movie depicts the uprising of Jewish prisoners in German extermination camp Sobibor in 1943. The story is based on real events.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Escape from Sobibor:
Luger P08
Most German officers and NCOs carry Luger P08 pistols. During the uprising Aleksandr Pechersky (Rutger Hauer) and some other prisoners arm themselves with captured Lugers.
Walther P38
Several German officers including SS-Hauptscharführer Gustav Wagner (Hartmut Becker) are armed with Walther P38 pistols. In one scene Wagner's pistol switches to Luger P08 and then back to P38. In the final scene Pechersky's and Porchek's Lugers also switches to Walthers.
MP40
Some German soldiers are armed with MP40 SMGs.
Karabiner 98k
