Desert Rose: The Snow Apocalypse (JP:砂の薔薇 (デザート・ローズ) 雪の黙示録 Suna no Bara: Yuki no Mokushiroku) is a 1993 OVA spinoff of the Japanese anime and manga series of the same name. It is centered around an all-female unit of anti-terror mercenaries named CAT (Counter Attack Terrorism) as they are tasked with protecting summit in Switzerland from terror plots.

The following weapons were used in the anime film Desert Rose: The Snow Apocalypse:

Pistols

Beretta 950BS

Irene Sanders uses a stainless Beretta 950BS Jetfire.

Stainless Beretta 950BS Jetfire - .25 ACP‎
Irene presses her Beretta 950BS into Ernst Heineken's gut when he attempts to draw his P226.
Holstering her pistol after Mariko Rosebank tells the CAT operatives to stand down.
Ditto
Sanders showing her pistol after Ernst asks if they are still armed while disguised as maids.
Closeup.

Colt Combat Elite

The Colt Combat Elite with spur hammer is used by both Jessica Kureakin and Dellaila Kankunen. The slide incorrectly doesn't move.

Colt Combat Elite - .45 ACP
Jessica aims her Colt Combat Elite at Ernst after he tries to draw his pistol.
With her pistol after Mariko tells them to stand down.
Dellaila and Colleen Anderson firing at assassins.
Dellaila holding her pistol while riding a MD 500E helicopter.
Aiming at the assassins.
Pissed off after having a rocket shot at them.
Staring at her pistol after it runs out of ammo (the slide is incorrectly still forward).

SIG-Sauer P226

Oberstleutnant Ernst Heineken has a SIG-Sauer P226 with wood grips (which appears to be modeled after a spring airsoft replica, as the slide has guides that don't exist on the real pistol).

SIG-Sauer P226 with wood grips - 9x19mm Parabellum
Attempting to test the speed of the CAT operatives, Ernst draws his pistol.
Bringing it to bear...
...however Helga whips her lighter at his hand, disarming him.
The pistol hitting the ground...
...and sliding away.

Unknown Pistol 01

Helga Mittermeyer draws an unknown handgun when Ernst draws his P226. It somewhat resembles an Heckler & Koch USP, but the anime was released in April of 1993, three months after the unveiling of the HK USP, so this is unlikely.

Heckler & Koch USP - 9x19mm
Business end. Whichever pistol this is based on, the pistol depicted appears to lack a recoil spring.
Profile view.
Ditto.

Unknown Pistol 02

Another unknown pistol is seen in use by CAT operatives. It appears to have the silhouette of the SIG-Sauer P230, but it has several different elements such as the trigger guard and ejection port position.

SIG-Sauer P230 - .380 ACP
Two CAT operatives take cover with their pistols when Ernst draws his pistol.
A disguised male agent guarding the airport holds the pistol.
Closeup before he hides it under his purse.
A CAT operative chamber checks her pistol...
...while another loads hers.
The operative holsters her pistol.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

Various terrorists in the warehouse are seen with Heckler & Koch MP5A3s.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with "tropical" (wide) forearm - 9x19mm
A terrorist in Cologne firing his MP5A3 at the CAT operatives.
He gets hit in the shoulder for firing out in the open, which gives a good view of the front sight.
Right side visible as he falls.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with original "slimline" forearm - 9x19mm
A suited terrorist taking cover with his "slimline" MP5A3. Note it appears to lack a front sight.
In a weird continuity error, he now has a KG-9 while his associate has the MP5A3.

Interdynamic KG-9

Terrorists are seen using full-auto Interdynamic KG-9s with extended barrels. The bolts incorrectly do not cycle.

Interdynamic KG-99 with barrel extension - 9x19mm - for comparison
A terrorist gets hit while holding his KG-9...
...and sprays wildly as he falls.
Another terrorist during a continuity error, where his MP5A3 turned into a KG-9 and his partner's Uzi turned into an MP5A3.
A terrorist in Switzerland firing at Dellaila and Colleen's chopper.

IMI Uzi

One of the terrorists in Germany is seen going down with an Uzi. The barrel of one is also seen when Jean-Pierre Montan is assassinated (though it changes to a KG-9 when the car chase starts).

IMI Uzi - 9x19mm
A terrorist goes down with his finger on the trigger.
Ditto.

Shotguns

Mossberg 590

A stocked and stockless Mossberg 590 can be seen in the back of the CAT operative's van in the intro of the OVA (which appears to be based on chapter 2 of the manga, taking place in Cologne).

Assault Rifles

M16A1

The M16A1 is the standard armament of the CAT operatives.

M16A1 with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm
CAT operatives exit their van with M16A1 rifles.
Closeup of a character tightening the sling around her hand.
Another inserts a 20-round STANAG.
Helga Mittermeyer about to take out some lights with throwing knives, giving a good view of the other side of the rifle.
Colleen Anderson firing at terrorists in the warehouse.
Irene Sanders signals Dellaila Kankunen to give her a grenade while holding her M16A1.
Helga shows her war face while firing her rifle from the hip.
A CAT operative guarding the conference in Switzerland armed with an M16A1.

SIG SG 550

Swiss soldiers guarding the conference can be seen with SIG SG 550 rifles. Note their uniforms and webbing appear to resemble West German or US Army Ranger ones rather than Swiss ones of the time (although they are similar to some of non-camo ones such as the ones seen on tankers and Festungswachtkorps).

SIG SG 550 with proprietary bipod - 5.56x45mm
A soldier holds his SIG550 while standing with Ernst Heineken.
Soldiers taking cover from an avalanche with the rifles slung on their backs.
Another soldier with the rifle slung.
Ditto.

Colt Model 609

Mariko Rosebank uses a Colt Model 609 during the raid in the beginning of the OVA.

Colt Model 609 aka XM177E1 - 5.56x45mm
Mariko pulls out her rifle. Note the non-standard ports on the muzzle device.
The slightly longer barrel in this shot as she fires at the terrorists in the warehouse.
Taking cover with Helga. Note the barrel length is back to normal, but the front sight has been reversed.
Ditto but closeup.
Moving from cover.
Mariko fires from the hip at the terrorist on the platform. Note the muzzle device changed to a birdcage flash hider.

Launchers

M72 LAW

A terrorist is seen firing a M72 LAW from the inside of his Alpine A110 sports car. The back-blast somehow doesn't fry him and his associate, and the rocket also passes though both his windshield, the helicopter's windshield, and the helicopter air frame without significantly damaging it.

M72 LAW with rocket - 66mm
The terrorist pulls the launcher after Dellaila and Colleen return fire. Note it lacks a rear sight and the tube is already fully extended.
Business end.

Unknown Launcher

Dellaila fires a fictional launcher from the chopper they are riding in. It appears to take inspiration from various launchers, such as the Armburst, FIM-43 Redeye and the LAW 80.

Armbrust with grip and shoulder rest folded - 67mm
Dummy FIM-43 Redeye Block I/II with sling - 70mm
Inert drill LAW 80 (upside-down) - 94mm
The launcher before she picks it up.
Pulling it from behind the seat.
Bringing it to bear.
Aiming.
Firing. Note the back-blast would likely destroy the inside of the chopper.
Dellaila with the launcher after realizing it was overkill for the sports car.

Grenades

M26 Grenade

Dellaila can be seen with M26 hand grenades on her webbing. She gives on to Irene to blow up hostiles in the room they breach.

M26 High-Explosive Fragmentation hand grenade
Dellaila with two grenades on her webbing.
Tossing one over to Irene with the pin pulled.
The spoon flying off.
The top visible as it spins.

Cover guns

In the larger image of her, Mariko appears to be holding a Gen 1 Glock 17 with wide sights (and the magazine of an M9). Mariko on the jetski appears to be holding an Ithaca 37 Riot, while Irene appears to have Colt Model 609. Helga possibly has a M1911.
