The Type 1 heavy machine gun and variants can be seen in the following films, television series, video games, and anime used by the following actors:
Specifications
(1941 - 1945)
- Type: Heavy machine gun*
- Caliber: 7.7x58mm Arisaka
- Weight: 36.8 kg
- Length: 1077 mm
- Barrel Length: 589 mm
- Feed System: 30 round Metallic feed trays
*Like the other WW2 Japanese "heavy" machine guns, the Type 1 should really be considered a medium machine gun, as it fires a rifle bullet and does not have any capacity to accept a belt feed; only the weight of the weapon (81 pounds with a tripod) really qualifies it as a "heavy" machine gun.
