The following guns were used in the video game The Godfather:
Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snubnose
Called just the "Snubnose" in the game. This can be bought as the Saturday night special" which has gold platting and an ivory handle. It is said to be the most silent and the weakest of the handguns in the game. An enhanced version of this revolver called the Black Widow can be added on. Another is a solid gold version called "Saturday Night Special" you can by from a merchant.

Colt M1911A1
Called just "Pistol" in the game. There is an Assassin version of this pistol that can be picked up by a gun merchant. It is given black paint and kills with one shot. The original holds 8 rounds. The extended level 2 gun holds 10 and the Assassins carries 14 rounds. This gun is more of a Browning Hi-Power then a Colt M1911A1 when it becomes the assassins pistol. The level 4 version is called the Herzstopper and can be added on.
Colt Official Police
Called "Magnum" in the game, in reality this gun fires .38 Special just like the "Snubnose". The Lvl 4 Magnum is called the Anihilator.
It is said to rival the "Shotgun" in power in the game. This can be upgraded to the "Python" which is gold plated with an Ivery handeland has 8 rounds. The "Python" version is gold painted and powerful.
Thompson M1928
The gun omnipresent in any mobster movie/game, called inside the game only by it's nickname, "Tommy Gun".
In the game, it inaccurately carries only 25 rounds, when in reality the drum magazine houses a plentiful 50 rounds. A Tommy gun can be bought with a 50 round drum and another version can be bought with a 75 round stick mag which is inaccurate. There is a version called the Dillinger, it has a 20 round drum and has a removed butt stock. This is a referance to John Dillinger
Winchester Model 1897
Called the "long barreled shotgun" in the game, it actually lacks the exposed hammer of the M1897.
In the game, it has a weird reloading scheme: despite being pump-action, you can fire 2 shots before you have to actually pump it.
As one would expect from the "shotgun" of the game, this gun does a nice work at close range shootouts. The shot gun can be upgraded to a "Street Sweeper" wchich has a 10 round drum and has rapid fire.
M1928A1 Thompson
If you are a member of the Playstation store you can by an add on content that gives you an M1928A1 Thompson that you can pick up from a merchant in the game. This is called the Lvl 4 Tommy Gun or Spectre Minigun
Lupara
If you are a member of the Playstation store you can by an add on content that gives you an M1928A1 Thompson that you can pick up from a merchant in the game. This is the Lvl 4 Shotgun.
