Angel Beats! (2010)

Angel Beats! (エンジェルビーツ! Enjeru Bītsu!?) is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. The story was originally conceived by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music with the group Anant-Garde Eyes, with original character design by Na-Ga; both Maeda and Na-Ga are from the visual novel brand Key, who produced such titles as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. The anime aired in Japan between April 3 and June 26, 2010. An original video animation episode was released on December 22, 2010. The story takes place in the afterlife and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Battlefront—an organization she leads which fights against God. The Battlefront fight against the student council president Angel, a girl with supernatural powers.

  • Note: An interesting fact in Angel Beats! is that any weapon can be made in the Afterlife World using only dirt, as long as the creator remembers the image and specs of the weapon he/she is trying to create. (Which also means there are some crazy weapon designers in the afterlife who can recreate Kriss Vectors, M2000 Interventions, and AT4s...)

The following firearms were seen in the anime television series Angel Beats!:

Handguns

Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox

Yuri (AKA "Yurippe") uses a Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox as her main weapon of choice. She actually has two of these handguns and at one point she dual wields both of them.

Glock 17

Otonashi Yudzuru uses a 2nd Gen Glock 17 as a primary weapon. It first was given to him by Yuri, who claims "even newbs can fire this". Unfamiliar with firearms, Otonashi nonetheless trains with the Glock until he becomes a proficient shooter, where he can shoot "gangster style" and without looking. Near the series' end, he is revealed to have two Glock 17s, firing them both simultaneously and in different directions.

LAR Grizzly

The amazing English speaking TK uses a LAR Grizzly for his sidearm. He often dual-wields it along with his Hi-Power. It seems he has two LAR pistols as he dual-wields two in the end rather than his usual Hi-Power.

Yuri aims her Mk.18 at approaching Shadow beasts. Here the Beta C-Mag looks REALLY big, but considering the amount of ammo she expends mowing down Shadow Beasts and destroying the source with just one magazine, it's quite justifiable to believe that its size is because it can hold more than 100 rounds.
