Yulian Semyonovich Semyonov (born Yulian Semyonovich Lyandres, October 8, 1931 - September 15, 1993) was a Soviet and Russian writer, author of numerous of spy and detective novels. Many of his works were adapted for screen, among which the most famous is Seventeen Moments of Spring 1973 mini series.
