Walking Dead, The (VG)
The Walking Dead (also known as The Walking Dead: The Game and retroactively retitled The Walking Dead: Season One) is a 2012 episodic video game developed by Telltale Games and based on the comic co-created by Robert Kirkman. In the game, players take the role of former UGA (University of Georgia) history professor Lee Everett at the onset of the zombie apocalypse and must balance their decisions in an attempt to keep their group of survivors together and alive while looking after Clementine, an 8-year-old little girl that he finds alone in her house. A DLC episode, titled "400 Days" follows a group of six different survivors and the events leading up to their own group forming, which sets the stage for some of the events in the second season. It is available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, MAC, and Android iOS platforms, and was later released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It should be noted that the video game follows the continuity of the comics rather than the TV series.

The most ubiquitous pistol in the game, almost every major and minor character uses a Glock 17 at some point, having likely scavenged them from around the Macon area. Even though it's not modeled, the textures show the finger rests on the grip and the under-barrel rail of a Generation 3 model. Its first appearance depends on the choices the player makes. The first potential appearance is in the hands of Georgia State Patrol Officer Andre Mitchell outside Clementine's house, should Lee have opted to wait for nightfall. No matter the choices the player makes, Carley, who is exceptionally well-schooled in its use as a reporter, uses it to protect Duck outside the Everett Drug Store during "A New Day". When Glenn goes looking for gas at the Travelier Motel (referred to as the "Motor Inn" throughout the game), he meets a bitten girl, Irene, who asks Carly for a gun to commit suicide. In "Long Road Ahead", Kenny uses a Glock 17 during a raid on the pharmacy to kill several walkers. A few Save-Lots Bandits also use the Glock 17 in "Long Road Ahead". Lily later uses a Glock 17, possibly the same one, to execute a member of the group during "Long Road Ahead". When Duck is bitten, Katya commits suicide using a Glock 17. Kenny (or Lee) uses the same gun to mercy kill Duck. Lee later uses it to teach Clementine how to shoot. Lee holds a Glock 17 on Molly in "Around Every Corner". Ben also uses the Glock 17. Nate and Russell use a single Glock 17 during "400 Days". A unique Glock 17 with a light gray color scheme (possibly based on the HCF Glock 17 Spring Pistol) is taken off a zombified security guard at the end of "No Time Left", with two more appearing in the "400 Days" DLC episode among the rest of the Gil's Pitstop survivors' weapons.
The Glock 17 is depicted as the "use" icon for whatever handgun the survivor is carrying, regardless of whether it's actually a Glock 17, except during one notable segment of "400 Days," when Russ's "Cover Fire" command becomes a Double Nine, complete with muzzle-flash.
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox is used by one of the Save-Lot bandits when they attack the Travelier Motel in "Long Road Ahead," but he is disarmed of it and Carley quickly commandeers it and turns it against them, provided she survived the events of "A New Day." Due to events of the game, this particular pistol winds up in Christa's possession when she and Omid join the group in "Long Road Ahead". Another Beretta 92FS Inox is taken from a house in "No Time Left" and used by Kenny for the remainder of the game; the "Stranger" also wields one, which is potentially used by Clementine during the game's climax. Vince uses a Beretta 92FS Inox to commit a murder in the 400 Days DLC episode; hiding the pistol is the first decision the player must make during the episode.
The Beretta 92FS Inox is modeled with an overly large guide-rod (roughly the same diameter as the barrel) and is shown firing exclusively in Double-Action Only; this appears to be because the hammer is a part of the slide model, rather than the frame.
High Standard Double-Nine
High Standard Double Nine revolvers are used by St. Johns in "Starved for Help;" one is also carried by Brenda St. John, which she uses to threaten Lee and Katjaa. Andrew St. John threatens Lee's group with the same revolver. Charles also uses one off-screen at some point in "Around Every Corner", as does Vernon, leader of the cancer survivors group in Savannah, when he holds it threateningly on Lee. If the player opts to take Clementine along during the Crawford raid, she will briefly use one much to Molly's relief. Omid uses this revolver when walkers attack Fivel's house in "No Time Left". A High Standard Double-Nine Revolver is also used by Wyatt to fend off an aggressive vehicle in the DLC episode 400 Days. Strangely, the "use" command for Wyatt to fire the revolver is actually a Glock 17, but in the next segment, the "use" command for Russ's Glock 19 is a Double Nine, suggesting the icons have been flipped.
Browning Automatic Rifle Safari
Browning Automatic Rifle Safaris, modeled inaccurately with bolt-action rifle bolt handles, are used by the Macon survivors throughout the game, first appearing in "Starved for Help" when Lee and Mark are out hunting. Curiously, the rifles function normally as gas-operated semi-automatics during cutscenes, but are apparently bolt-operated when player-controlled based on a bolt handle sound effect and lengthy delay between follow-up shots.
Marlin Model 25
Several Marlin Model 25 rifles appear, at least two in the Macon survivors' possession and another owned by Danny St. John, who values it very deeply and has affectionately named it "Charlotte". A brass nameplate bearing the name can be seen on the side of Danny's rifle in some shots; it is modeled with a hooded front sight and a shorter-than-standard magazine. A Marlin Model 25 is also briefly seen in the hands of Clive (from the Savannah cancer survivor group) in the 400 Days DLC episode when the truck stop survivors discuss how to deal with a captured thief.
An FN SLP shotgun is the very first weapon to appear in the game, making its initial appearance in the old Atlanta police officer's squad car as he takes Lee to the Meriwether County Correctional Facility. After the car crashes, a dazed Lee can hear (but doesn't see) the police officer using it to fight off attacking walkers. After escaping the crashed car, the dead police officer reanimates and attacks, prompting Lee to use the SLP and one remaining shell to put him down. Another SLP is seen used by one of the Save-Lot bandits to gun down one of his companions in the woods after an argument. An FN SLP shotgun is also used by a Clyde, Georgia State Corrections officer, and later Vince, during "400 Days." It is depicted incorrectly as a pump-action when Lee uses it to gun down the zombified Atlanta police officer in "A New Day," but is depicted correctly as a semi-automatic in its later uses.
Remington 870 Police Magnum
A Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun is used by Hershel Greene in "A New Day" when walkers attack the farm. Another is grabbed by Lee during the escape from Crawford in "Around Every Corner," with which he can fire a pretty much infinite amount of times before discarding it to try and help one of his companions.
Horton Scout HD 125 Crossbow
At least two crossbows are seen during encounters with the Save-Lot bandits in both "Starved for Help" and "Long Road Ahead," although they are implied to have several more. The first is in "Starved for Help," used by Jolene in the woods near the St. John Dairy to hold up Lee and Danny St. John; one was also presumably used to wound Mark at the Dairy. The second appears wielded by a Save-Lot bandit named Linda during their assault on the Travelier Motel during "Long Road Ahead." Both appear to be of the same make/model as Daryl Dixon's crossbow through most of the TV series, a Horton Scout HD 125.
