Virtual Warfighter (2016)

Virtual Warfighter, VWF for short, is a tactical multiplayer shooter for the OpenVR virtual reality platform. The game emphasis on realistic firearm operations. Using tracked controllers the players can manipulate objects such as racking the slide or release a locked back bolt. VWF is a physics driven game and most actions are driven by physics, this enables features like rail attachments that do not clip firearm or other attachment and that feel natural to operate. Moreover VWF is one of few games that have carefully mapped first person hands that closely tries to mimic how a real world operator would grip each individual object.

Like many other indie VR projects, many weapon assets in this game are sourced from asset stores, including the Ultimate FPS Weapons Pack by ChamferZone.

Pistols

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is one of the available pistols in-game, and comes fitted with a usable underbarrel rail.

3rd Gen Glock 17 - 9x19mm

Beretta M9A1

The Beretta M9A1 is one of the available pistols in-game, and comes fitted with a usable underbarrel rail. Is configured for SA only.

Beretta M9A1 - 9x19mm. Updated version of the military M9 Beretta. It has an integral rail for mounting flashlights or lasers, reversible magazine release, and checkered back strap for better grip, similar to that seen on Glock pistols.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5KA4

The Heckler & Koch MP5KA4 is one of the available SMGs in-game.

Heckler & Koch MP5K - updated with the Navy Trigger Group - 9x19mm. The Navy trigger group dates to 1985, the MP5K-PDW to 1991. The MP5K is available in the newer MP5KN, MP5KA4, and MP5KA5 configurations, which all have the ambidextrous trigger group. Another 'well used' actual movie blank firing gun.

The FN P90 TR is one of the available SMGs in-game. The PDW is reloaded like its real world counterpart, this is enabled through the advanced physics in VWF.

Colt M4A1

The M4A1 is one of the available ARs in-game. Comes with a Knight's Armament RAS rail (No such attachments in game).

The Mk. 18 Mod 1 is one of the available ARs in-game. Configured for 3 round burst select fire

Heckler & Koch G3A3

The Heckler & Koch G3A3 is one of the available Battle rifles in-game.

Heckler & Koch G3A3 with slimline handguard. This example is equipped with Olive-Drab colored furniture; H&K also produced this furniture in Black and "Jungle"-Green (referred to as "Police Green" in German circles). Saudi Arabia would also produce G3A3 rifles with light tan furniture - 7.62x51mm NATO

Mossberg 590A1 Tactical

The Mossberg 590A1 is one of the available shotguns in-game.

Sniper Rifle

Accuracy International Arctic Warfare

The Accuracy International Arctic Warfare is one of the available Sniper rifles in-game. It comes with a dovetail rail but can mount Picatinny attachments through a adapter.

Accuracy International AW - 7.62x51mm NATO

The Arctic Warfare fitted with a 11mm dovetail rail. Here it is equipped with a Burris 3-12x56 FourX, the only dovetail attachment currently in the game.
