Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban. After that you should also read the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide to familiarize yourself with the image and formatting requirements for pages you create.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! bunni (talk) 14:39, 30 June 2014 (EDT)

Your questions about the SPAS-12:

One, they're clunky and way too heavy compared to other, newer dual function shotguns (like the Benelli Super 90s) Sure they look cool but most departments (usually the Italian police and some of the French police) don't use them that much anymore. It's an OLD technology. I have my own inventory of SPAS-12s (all the ones you see on the site are pictures of my guns), but in the past I've had to handle many others, usually ones provided by other armory houses on movie sets. They're terrible at blanks. That's most of my experience. Movie armorers aren't the best people to ask about how guns function with live ammo since we rarely fire the weapons with live ammo. I am sure that the live ammo provides enough kick to cycle it. I've fired mine at the range and they dump the entire magazine just fine. It's with blanks that the clunky design of the SPAS-12 shows it's flaws. Don't know if you noticed that MOST movies where you see the SPAS (terminator, Bad Boys, etc.) you dont' see them firing semi auto. In fact a lot of times you just see the actors fire them with pump action only. That's a testament to how much they jam with blanks. MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 16:56, 30 October 2014 (EDT)

On how to post your sig with ease:

On your keyboard, you type in "~" four times in a row (at the END of your post). That shows your name, and time you posted with ease ~~~~ then comes up, later when you're editing to look like you went through the trouble of posting your name, and date stamp on your post.
