Greetings, my name is George and this is something I should have done last year. Oops.
I'm a retired US Army Cavalry Scout, semi-competitive 3-gun and IDPA shooter and collectors of shiny things that make big noise. I'm also a voracious reader of all things firearms and have been since the mid-1980's. No internet back then, had to go to the library and pore over copies of Jane's All the Worlds (fill in the blank). I've got a fair collection of firearms and enjoying shooting when I can.
Largest weapon system I've fired is the TOW missile system, most recently the TOW2-B, from the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. My favorite weapon is the S&W .45ACP moonclip revolver, I currently have 2: the 625-2 and a 22-4.
I've recently started using a USP9 instead of the Beretta 92F as my competition pistol. I've also got the occasional project pistol, currently a Colt Cobra and a S&W 3914.
