The following weapons were used in the anime series The Twelve Kingdoms:

Nambu Model 60

The Nambu Model 60 is the only firearm in this series. Asano bring an old and rusty Nambu from Hourai (Japan), partly repaired it and uses it throughout the series. At the one moment the Youko Nakajima tooked it from him, but later gave back. A Police officers carry a holstered Nambus at the real Japan.
