The Investigation Ascertained (Russian title Sledstviyem ustanovleno, Latvian title Izmeklesana noskaidrots) is a Soviet Latvian 1982 (filmed 1981) detective movie directed by Ada Neretniece. A woman is found murdered in Riga. Same night a suspect escapes from Militsia and throws his bag in the river. When the bag is raised from the water, a large sum of money is found inside. Soon the investigator of attorney office Ruta Graudina (Vija Artmane) figures out that both cases are linked.
