The Great Muppet Caper (1981)

The Great Muppet Caper is the 1981 sequel to 1979's The Muppet Movie. In addition to the Muppets, the cast included Charles Grodin and Diana Rigg, along with cameos by Jack Warden, John Cleese, Peter Falk and Peter Ustinov. This sequel was the only live-action Muppet feature directed by creator Jim Henson, and the film featured several elaborate sequences that had not been possible in the The Muppet Show, which had ended three months prior, including Muppets riding bicycles and an elaborate underwater musical number starring Miss Piggy. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.
