Tarzan and the Valley of Gold
Tarzan and the Valley of Gold is a 1966 adventure movie directed by Robert Day. Tarzan (Mike Henry) goes to Mexico to save his friends and counter the plans of villainous Augustus Vinero (David Opatoshu) to pillage the treasures in the ancient temple.
The following weapons were used in the film Tarzan and the Valley of Gold:
Colt Official Police
When Tarzan appears in Mexico, Vinero's henchman Antonio (Oswald Olvera), disguised as a taxi driver, tries to kill him, using a Colt Official Police. Tarzan disarms Antonio and uses his revolver in a shootout with a second hitman.
M1911 pistols are carried by several characters, including Ruiz (Frank Brandstetter), Mexican police inspector Talmadge (Eduardo Noriega), and several soldiers of Vinero's private army. These pistols appear to be original M1911s rather than M1911A1s as they have flat mainspring housing.
Most soldiers of Vinero's private army carry M1 Carbines with 30-round magazines. One of the trio of henchmen that kidnaps Ramel is also armed with an M1 Carbine.
Several of Vinero's soldiers are armed with M1903 Springfield rifles.
Winchester Model 1892
In the scene on the staduim a hitman is armed with a Winchester Model 1892 with a sniper scope.
Rodriguez (Jorge Beirute), the leader of the group that kidnaps Ramel, carries a Browning M1919A4 machine gun and fires it from the hip. Tarzan (Mike Henry) captures this machine gun and uses it against Vinero's Bell 47 helicopter. Vinero's soldiers also use M1919s.
A Browning M1919A5 is mounted on M3A1 Stuart light tank coaxial with 37-mm gun.
Browning Automatic Rifle
M1918 Browning Automatic Rifles are seen in hands of Vinero's soldiers. One of the trio of henchmen that kidnaps Ramel carries a BAR. In the scene in the cave Tarzan (Mike Henry) captures a BAR and uses it to make a cave-in of stalactites.
A Browning M2HB is mounted on Vinero's M3 halftrack.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
In one scene Vinero's soldiers try to kill Tarzan by aerial bombardment with Mk 2 hand grenades. Tarzan in turn makes a bolas, using two grenades, captured from killed kidnappers, and uses this makeshift weapon against Bell 47 helicopter with great success.
A mockup flamethrower is mounted on Vinero's M3A1 light tank.
Vinero posesses two armoured vehicles: an M3A1 Stuart light tank and an M3 halftrack APC.
