First Appearance of M16A4 in Film?

I was wondering, would this film qualify as the first appearance of the M16A4 rifle in a film? It's the earliest listing on the page for that weapon, at least. Anyone have any insight on this? Orca1 9904 19:47, 20 March 2011 (CDT)

I think so. Although I'm pretty sure AR makers were selling flattop uppers with 20" barrels for years prior to the M16A4's adoption, which could have ended up in armories' inventories and appeared in films before this (in which case, those weapons would be visually identical to an M16A4). But this is the earliest film I've personally seen that has an M16A4-type rifle. -MT2008 20:00, 20 March 2011 (CDT)
