the Heckler & Koch GR9 look like a gun that will be seen in films based in the future

It's a HK-21 varrient and should be on the H&K G3 page with the other HK21 varrients.Rockwolf66 20:16, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

- Oh, really ? HK33 is (or atleast i think it) G3´s variantion too. And HK416 is in fact M4 variantion. GR9 may be based on HK 21, but ir isnt its version ! --Werc 15:44, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

The H&K GR Series are just their Roller Lock LMG series with an alternative feed system. Basically it's their HK11/21 with an experimental feed system and an alternative sighting system.Funny thing is that the HK11E/13E/21E/23E all use almost all the same parts. the only things changed are the barrel, Bolt, and Feed System.

The HK33 and HK416 have been seen many more times than the GR9 has and have variants of their own, therefore they can have their own pages. As has been proven earlier on this site, one entry is not enough for a variant of an existing weapon to have a page of its own. I vote to move this to the G3 page.-Ranger01 16:55, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Well, GR9 has 3 or 4 variantions too :) And i remember i saw it in few movies, but cant remember their names. And its problem. I jsut have to look for them. --Werc 16:06, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
I'll ask around at HKpro about that but frankly I have seen some great HK21s in film, but I have never seen a HK11 or any other alternative feed system in film. Then again there are some pretty good G11 mock ups out there. Rockwolf66 17:49, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Since the G11 was a superhyped failure, there was never ANY live G11s in movie gun inventory. Demolition man got one, but that was loaned from HK directly and it had to go back to HK directly. Heck, you couldn't even pulled a rubber casting of the G11 because of 'proprietary and trademark' issues with HK. They controlled everything about the G11 like a state secret or something. A lot of good it did them. The only reason any would want to see the G11 in a film was to thrill the Mall ninjas.MoviePropMaster2008 18:21, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
So that was a G11 in Demolition man. Someone in marketing choose the wrong movie to showcase the "lattest and greatest" Rifle of the Future.Oh well I'll have to try and figure out a way to screencap Wanted: Dead or Alive for it's great looking HK21.Rockwolf66 17:06, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

To the G3 page it should go. Spartan198 17:12, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
