HD Shots

For some reason all of the caps are weird cropped squares, I will be gradually be replacing them with HD widescreen blu-ray shots. --Сергей Титов, Sergei Titov 18:35, 2 July 2012 (CDT)

SimTech Round

During the training session in which paintball SimTech rounds are used, one is seen in mid-flight before hitting Maxwell Smart/Agent 86 (Steve Carell). If you look at the round, the whole cartridge is seen in flight, including both the paintball and the casing. For some reason, the casing says .338, but since all the guns except Agent 23's (Dwayne Johnson) are 9mm, it is questionable why this round says .338, assumed to be the Lapua rounds.

I can't even find a Wikipedia article on simtech rounds. What are they/where can I read something/info on them? --Sergei Titov 22:27, 21 October 2011 (CDT)

Look up "Simunition" on Wikipedia. --LoveRobin 17:35, 22 February 2012 (CST)

It's Get Smart, so it's probly a deliberate joke.--Mandolin 20:40, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

Glock

The Glock 17's bore looks too big to be a 9mm in some parts of the training scene. Maybe a Glock 22?--Yo dawg 111 07:04, 8 January 2012 (CST)

Colt Detective Special

The 'circled' gun in the pictured display case is NOT "three detective specials" as captioned, but is a "Stereophonic Gun" (two guns mounted left-right on a common trigger base. Look Closely!!) from the Classic Get Smart television series, Season 4 Episode 16 "The Day They Raided the Knights". Kaos had ordered a this new weapon to distribute to its agents. The joke was pulling the trigger activated music; Kaos had commissioned the weapon to a Japanese manufacturer who upon mis-reading, mis-translating, and misunderstanding the term "stereophonic" instead made and shipped Novelty Radios.

I am changing the caption accordingly --LoveRobin 17:35, 22 February 2012 (CST)

I am removing the second instance of this same photo but with only one half of the stereophonic pistol circled. It is the same screen cap, therefore the same prop, thus the same caption from the first instance applies. Removing. LoveRobin (talk) 14:29, 24 April 2022 (EDT)

Police shotgun

As Smart arrives in LA he sees a patrolman in his car with what looks like an 870 between his legs. I can't screencap it myself but if someone could that'd help.

Original TV show

Will anyone be doing the classic original television series? I'm keen to find out what type of automatic Max uses in the black and white pilot and why it disappeared (but may have been used by the Chief in one colour episode).Foofbun (talk) 04:19, 11 June 2018 (EDT)

I too am disappointed there's no article on it. Mostly because it means there's no commentary on the "Stereophonic Pistol" from Season 4 Episode 2. --VladVladson (talk) 00:30, 5 March 2022 (EST)
