I think Pocket Positives are a lot smaller than the revolver in the film. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:24, 20 April 2014 (EDT)

According to the lenght of the barrel as compared with the ejector rod, the barrel seems to be shorter than 4" and Pocket Positive is the only Colt model I found that has a 3.5" barrel. But I can be wrong. Maybe it's even not an original Colt but some Spanish or German clone. Greg-Z (talk) 23:17, 20 April 2014 (EDT)
The ones I've run across have been tiny. Then again, I may have just mis-IDed them. Here's an image of various Colt revolvers and their sizes. According to the post, "The top left is the New Service (largest frame Revolver), below that on the left is the Official Police which is the same size as the Army Special and Officers Model Target. On the top right is the Police Positive Special and directly under it is the Police Positive which has a shorter cylinder than the police Positive Special. On the bottom right is the smallest Colt revolver which is a Pocket Positive." --Funkychinaman (talk) 23:25, 20 April 2014 (EDT)
Here's another one. It's a Colt 1903 on the left and a Colt 1908 on the right, with a Pocket Postive in the middle. The revolver on the bottom is a Officer's Match, which, according to the first image, is the same as the Official Police. --Funkychinaman (talk) 23:47, 20 April 2014 (EDT)
I agree that the screen revolver is larger that Pocket Positive but I still cannot find another Colt of Colt-style revolver that has the same length of the barrel and of the ejector rod. Greg-Z (talk) 23:51, 20 April 2014 (EDT)
Can it be a Colt Cobra with 3" barrel? Greg-Z (talk) 01:11, 21 April 2014 (EDT)
According to the DS page, there's a DS with a 3" barrel as well. --Funkychinaman (talk) 01:17, 21 April 2014 (EDT)

I have a new guess: can it be a Colt M1889 with 3" barrel? It has large frame, and the lenght of the barrel and ejector rod seem to match the screen gun. Greg-Z (talk) 15:18, 30 July 2014 (EDT)
