The AKMS in the second picture looks like a Zastava M70AB2 to me.
- They are the same rifle, BUT, I think you are correct. The AKMS has a little knob on the forward wood grip.

AK carbine in "The Outsiders"
I'm pretty sure that this is not an AKMS, as firstly it is an underfolder, secondly it has standard rifle style sights, thirdly the barrel and gas tube are longer (around AK-102 length), and lastly it appears to have a milled receiver. Are these ever shown firing? If so my guess would be something like an Arsenal AR-M2F, but there are still some differences like the bolt carrier finish and the milled vs stamped style folding stock. I think that more likely these are some kind of weird airsoft variant or possibly a custom build. --commando552 (talk) 16:59, 4 February 2016 (EST)
