M4/M4A1 (moved from main page)

Um, wouldn't it be easier to get an M4A1 instead of converting a M4? Plus, the M4 Toorop had during that shootout was full auto. And M4s come with removable handrails. ALL M4 series have removable handrails.

You are incorrect sir, the very first delivery order of M4's did not have the flat top receiver with Picatinny rail like subsequent deliveries, So with the exception that it fires in full auto, the M4 Toorop uses is an early M4 and not a later M4 or M4A1.
If it fires full auto and has an A2 receiver, that makes it a Model 727 according to IMFDb policy. I don't think very many of the the Model 777, aka "early M4", were even produced. As it stands today (and back in 2008 when this movie was made), the only difference between the M4 and M4A1 is the former having a burst setting in place of the latter's auto setting. Now please, keep discussions off the main page. Spartan198 (talk) 00:10, 25 January 2014 (EST)

What MP5 model was Toorop using in the deleted scene?

I apologize for the bad quality but this is all I could find. Can you please help me identify it? --Mojo72400 (talk) 08:01, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
