Umm

Might have jumped the gun when I created this page; I'm now hesitating whether the weapon deserves to have its own page or it should just have a section as part of the AK-47 page. Opinions? --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 11:33, 19 June 2018 (EDT)

I am inclined to say that this should just go on the AK page. If it was an entire weapon that just used an AK style opperating system that would be one thing, but seeing as how this gun is actually just a Saiga manufactured receiver, barrel and gas system inside a plastic shell I don't think it should be separate. --commando552 (talk) 17:27, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
Alright, I'll create a section for it on the AK page. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 18:04, 20 June 2018 (EDT)

I would like to argue in favor of re-splitting the AK-Alfa into its own page; because of how massive the AK family is, I feel like splitting the whole family into more individual pages would make it clearer for readers to comprehend the minute diffrerences and details of different AKs made by different manufacturers. Under this mindset, I personally feel that the substantially different AK-Alfa furniture is notable enough for it to be treated as a separate gun from the standard Russian AKs. --Wuzh (talk) 04:48, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

Eh, given that some of you guys recently split the AK pages, it would be the right thing to be consistent and move the AK-Alfa to its own page IMO. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 20:29, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
