Contents

Pistols

Beretta 92FS Centurion

A Beretta 92FS semi-automatic pistol can be found by the protagonist James Sunderland in room 301 in the Wood Side Apartments early on in the game. The handgun holds ten rounds rather than 15 and is best used on weaker enemies at close to mid-range.

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 617

A 10-shot Smith & Wesson Model 617 double-action revolver is used by Maria in the "Born From A Wish" scenario. This, however, has some differences, such as an snubnose barrel, a lack of adjustable sights and a smooth cylinder. The gun has moderate stopping power and is best used within close to mid range.

Maria fires her Model 617.
Maria contemplates her fate. The gun looks physically larger in her hand than it actually is in real life.
In this shot, you can see the revolver's cylinder clearly holds 10 rounds.

Single Action Army

When one of the characters, Eddie Dombrowski, goes mad, he uses a Single Action Army revolver to try to kill James.

Eddie fans his Single Action Army.
"Eddie, what are you doing?"
"What does it look like?"
"You fat, disgusting piece of shit! You make me sick!"
"But you know what? It doesn't matter if you're smart, dumb, ugly, pretty..."
"It's all the same when you're dead! And a corpse can't laugh!"
"From now on, if anyone makes fun of me, I'll kill 'em! Just like that!"
Eddie puts his SAA to his head.
After James stupidly but accidentally provokes Eddie by asking if he's gone nuts, Eddie attacks him with his SAA.
Eddie fires.
Eddie lies dead clutching his SAA. Sadly, you can't take it off him.

Shotguns

Remington 870

A Remington 870 can be found in the 2nd floor women's locker room at Brookhaven Hospital. The gun has a tube magazine capacity of six rounds (on one round more, than possible in this configuration) and high stopping power, but limited range. Ammo is also fairly scarce so it is best used for bosses and tougher enemies.

Rifles

Winchester Model 70

Known as simply "Hunting Rifle" in-game, a Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle can be found in the weapons lock-up at Toluca Prison later on in the game. The gun has a magazine capacity of four rounds (which is typical for .300 and .375 H&H versions) and takes a long time between shots but each round is extremely powerful. Ammo is also extremely scarce so best used for bosses at a long distance. The rifle fires semi automatically, as James does not cycle the bolt after each shot.
