After the ending of the fifth film, Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) gets out of the Glass Coffin. At this point, his Glock 17 is seen in a holster on his belt. Collecting evidence at the site of the "Pound of Flesh" game, several police officers are seen with holstered Glocks. The mysterious cloaked figure who frightened William Easton (Peter Outerbridge) in Umbrella Health office is also armed with the Glock 17. William takes a pistol from the drawer and walks around the man in a raincoat from the rear, hiding behind the table. After that, he orders to surrender and immediately shoots the man, who turns out to be a security guard (Karl Campbell). Erickson's (Mark Rolston) and Perez's (Athena Karkanis) Glocks are briefly seen at their workplaces at the FBI Headquarters. When the Wave Audio Forensics technician named Sachi (Ginger Busch) decrypts the crime scene tape, Erickson and Perez take the pistols with them and they are briefly seen holstered. After decrypting the tape, Hoffman kills the agents, at which point only Perez uses her pistol to try to shoot Hoffman. After killing everyone who knew about Hoffman's involvement in Jigsaw case, the detective adjusts everything in such a way that Strahm staged the massacre. He leaves the agent's fingerprints on Perez's pistol and burns down the lab. At the end of the film, the pistol is also briefly used by Strahm (Scott Patterson) in archive footage from Saw V, when masked Hoffman attacks Peter.

Shotguns

Remington 870 Police Magnum

Six of William's subordinates find themselves tied to a rotating playground roundabout. Opposite one of them is a mechanism with a Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun. During the movement, each victim turns out to be in front of the barrel of the shotgun. At that moment, the choice was up to William (Peter Outerbridge). He can save two out of six people by piercing his palm with a metal spike. Then the mechanism raises the barrel of the shotgun and the victim on the carousel remains unharmed. Also, before the movement of each player, the shotgun is charged with the movement of the forearm. William chooses to save Emily (Larissa Gomes) and Shelby (Karen Cliche), which leads to the death of Aaron (James Gilbert), Gena (Melanie Scrofano), Dave (Darius McCrary) and Josh (Shawn Mathieson).

Explosive Bracelets

During William's (Peter Outerbridge) primary test, the four explosive bracelets are the side trap. At the end of each test, he received a key from one bracelet. They are joined by short leather straps wrapped around each of William's limbs. Each one of the bracelets contained a small explosive charge, which would rip up his limbs if they didn't complete their game in time or tried to skip some of the tests. William takes off all the bracelets one by one, passing all the tests and none of them is activated.
