Saw V

Saw V is a 2008 American horror film directed by David Hackl from a screenplay by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. It is the fifth installment in the Saw franchise. The film stars Costas Mandylor, Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell and Mark Rolston and was released in the United States on October 24, 2008, by Lionsgate.
After the end of the fourth film, Peter Strahm tries by any means to find Jigsaw's accomplice. While conducting his own investigation, he comes face to face with Detective Mark Hoffman. At the same time, Hoffman conducts a new game, the victims of which are five people, who were all in some way involved in a case of arson in which eight people were killed. A sequel, titled Saw VI, was released in 2009.

Beretta 92FS
In archive footage from the Saw IV, Daniel Rigg (Lyriq Bent) uses the Beretta 92FS again, when Agent Strahm realizes that all of Hoffman's rivals must have died.
Glock 17
Special Agent Peter Strahm (Scott Patterson), Special Agent Dan Erickson (Mark Rolston) and Detective Lieutenant Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) use a 2nd Generation Glock 17 throughout the all film. In the continuation of the previous film in the beginning, Strahm uses it to kill Jeff (Angus Macfadyen). After that, Peter aims ahead of himself when he finds a hidden passage in the wall, but is attacked by Hoffman wearing a Pig Mask. Unlike other test subjects in the games, Hoffman decides to execute Strahm in the unfair "Water Cube" trap, but the agent survives. While he tries to fight his way out, his service gun and other things are seen a few meters away from him on the barrel. When the police arrive, at least one officer has a holstered Glock 17. After being wounded and suspended from work, Strahm begins his own investigation. In archive footage from the Saw IV, Special Agent Lindsey Perez (Athena Karkanis) briefly holds her Glock 17 again. In a flashback, Hoffman returns home and, hearing muffled screams in the porch, draws out his pistol. Walking slowly along the corridor, he finds out the source of the noise - a woman (Quancetia Hamilton) with a naughty dog. The frightened detective points the gun at the dog, but when it with the owner leave, he holsters it. Erickson's (Mark Rolston) Glock 17 is seen in his holster at FBI Headquarters when he spots Strahm at his work place, suspended. Later, his pistol is briefly seen when Erickson notices the missing files in the archive. Continuing his investigation, Strahm visits the Razor Wire Maze from the first Saw and the operating room from the Saw III, where he also uses his Glock. In parallel with this, suspecting Strahm of involvement in Jigsaw case, Erickson gives Special Agent Cowan (Sheila Shah) the order to track Peter's mobile phone and, having received the coordinates, Erickson arrives at the catacombs, where the Fatal Five's Trial is taking place. There he draws out his pistol and keeps it ready until he finds the wounded winners Brit and Mallick and Hoffman's hideout (disguised as Strahm's hideout). After tracking Hoffman, Agent Strahm finds a house leading to underground tunnels where Hoffman is hiding. He goes down there, holding his pistol at the ready, until he finds his new test - a Glass Coffin. At this time, Hoffman watches Agent Strahm with a gun in his hand, but Peter outwitted him by hiding behind the door and takes the detective at gunpoint. A fight ensues between them, during which Hoffman is locked in a Glass Coffin. When the walls of the room begin to move, Strahm picks up the dropped gun from the floor and tries to shoot through the lock of the Glass Coffin, but with no result. As before in Saw III, a sound error is made. In the compactor room scene, Strahm's Glock sounds as though it is suppressed.
Smith & Wesson 5946
In archive footage from the Saw IV, Eric Matthew's old sidearm, the Smith & Wesson 5946, is once again briefly seen in the hands of Jeff (Angus Macfadyen) just before he is shot by Agent Strahm, when Peter realizes that all of Hoffman's rivals must have died.
Ruger GP-100
When Strahm reveals Hoffman's involvement with Jigsaw and looks at the police files of the players from the Nerve Gas House, we see a flashback from the second film, in which Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) and Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) prepare to game. The detective pulls a Ruger GP100 from under his jacket and hands it to John. Kramer mounts the revolver in "Magnum Eyehole" trap and, together with Mark, checks its performance and loads the ammo. After all the preparations, they both leave the room.
Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic
In flashback to Saw IV, Eric (Donnie Wahlberg) shoots a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic, which Art Blank (Justin Louis) gave him.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
When the police arrive at the Gideon meatpacking plant, where Eric and Hoffman played, a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is seen in the hands of one of the SWAT officers. Later, when Agent Strahm realizes that all of Hoffman's rivals must have died, in alternative shots from the beginning of the film, the submachine gun is seen in the hands of an officer leaving the factory building.

When the police arrive at the Gideon meatpacking plant, where Eric and Hoffman played, an M4A1 is seen in the hands of several SWAT officers.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
In a flashback, Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) attacks and kidnaps Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) in the elevator of his own house. When Hoffman wakes up, Mark sees that he is chained to a "Shotgun Chair", which is a regular chair with straps on the armrests and a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun holding by another leather restrain bound around the Hoffman's chest and pointed to his head. Additionally, the trigger was connected to the arm restraints by a thin cord, which would be pulled tight once the victim tried to move his arms too much. Hoffman tries to gently free his hand, but stops as soon as he sees the cord tightening. Jigsaw explains that the detective is here because he he stages a murder of Seth Baxter (Joris Jarsky) disguised as one of Jigsaw's games. And after forcing Hoffman to explain himself, John pulls one of the shotgun's triggers, but nothing happens. After that he frees Mark and reveals that only the opposite chamber was loaded, and that the whole setup was a ploy to blackmail Hoffman into assisting Jigsaw in his future "games".

Billy the Puppet Gun
In archive footage from the Saw IV, the cannon hidden in the Billy's head shoots at Agent Perez (Athena Karkanis) again, when Agent Strahm realizes that all of Hoffman's rivals must have died.
Nails Bomb
During each trial of The Fatal Five's Trial, nail bombs were installed in the rooms, similar to the one in Troy trial. At the end of the allotted time, the bombs detonate, destroying everything that was in the room. In the first room with the neck ties, two bombs were planted, on either side of the TV. As soon as the tape ended, the device was triggered and the countdown started. The victims had fifteen minutes to pass the test. Everyone except Ashley Kazon (Laura Gordon) manages to free himself from the collars and leave the room before the explosion. The same bombs were installed in the second, third and fourth rooms. The essence of the test in the second room is that the victims must break the glass jars suspended from the ceiling in order to obtain the key to the rescue shelter. If they do not have time, they will die from the explosion, which is what happens to Charles Salomon (Carlo Rota), who decided to betray the others. A bath with several wires was waiting in the next room for the survivors. The test was that they had to connect all the wires to open the door. Otherwise, a bomb mounted on a small shelf on the wall will kill them. In this test, Luba Gibbs (Meagan Good) dies because of the betrayal of Brit Stevenson (Julie Benz). Bombs are also planted in the last room, but they are not activated, since Brit and Mallick Scott (Greg Bryk) have successfully passed the final test.
