PMN (Protivopekhotnaya mina nazhimnaya - pressure anti-personnel mine) is a series of Soviet blast anti-personnel mines, inclding PMN (later renamed PMN-1), PMN-2, PMN-3, PMN-4, and MS-3 (a boobytrap device, based on PMN). The first version was put into service in 1950. For its high lethalty, PMN is known at the West under the nickname "Black Widow". Except USSR, PMN and its clones were produced in China (as Type 58), Hungary (GYATA-64), Myanmar (MM2), and Bulgaria (PM-79).
