Ocean's Eleven (2001)
Ocean's Eleven is the 2001 remake of the Frank Sinatra-starring heist film of the same name. Directed by Steven Soderbergh (Out of Sight), the film stars George Clooney as Danny Ocean, a master thief recently released from prison, who recruits a crew to pull off a daring heist of three Las Vegas casinos owned by Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia). The all-star cast included Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Scott Caan, Casey Affleck, Elliott Gould, Carl Reiner, and Julia Roberts. The majority of the cast would reunite for two more films: 2004's Ocean's Twelve, and 2007's Ocean's Thirteen. Sandra Bullock would portray the estranged sister of Danny Ocean in the 2018 sequel Ocean's 8.
The following weapons were used in the film Ocean's Eleven (2001):
When discussing the plot to rob the casino vaults, Danny Ocean mentions that the guards carry Uzis. During their practice run of the robbery, Virgil Malloy (Casey Affleck) carries an Uzi across his back while dressed as a security guard.
Beretta 92FS pistols are carried by security personnel employed by Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia). They use their handguns when they shoot out the tires of the van that was carrying the money stolen by Ocean's crew.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Members of Danny Ocean's crew, including Rusty (Brad Pitt), Saul Bloom (Carl Reiner), Turk Malloy (Scott Caan), and Basher (Don Cheadle) carry Heckler & Koch MP5A2s fitted with weaponlights and laser sights when dressed as SWAT officers.
