New Game! (JPN ニューゲーム Nyū Gēmu) is a comedy slice-of-life anime that debuted July 4, 2016. It follows Aoba Suzukaze, a new high school graduate, through her first job at a video game company as a character modeler and designer.

Umiko has an airsoft replica of a Heckler & Koch UMP in her collection, which she lends to Yagami.

Umiko presents a model Colt M4 carbine, referred to as an "N16," as a raffle prize at the employee party for the completion of their video game.
