Mystery Team (2009)

Mystery Team is a 2009 indie film by the sketch comedy group Derrick Comedy. It stars Donald Glover as Jason ("the master of disguise") DC Pierson as Duncan ("the boy genius") and Dominic Dierkes as Charlie ("the strongest kid in town,") who make up the Mystery Team, a group of Encyclopedia Brown-like kid detectives, despite being out of their prime since they're high school seniors. In an attempt to gain some respect ("like we were seven!") the team bites off a little more than they can chew when they accept the case of a double murder. It costars Aubrey Plaza, Glenn Kalison, Bobby Moynihan and Ellie Kemper.

M1911-type pistol

Leroy (Peter Saati) pulls out an M1911-type pistol when he grows impatient with the kids. He later uses it to try to kill them.

Colt Government, .45 ACP

Leroy pulls out his M1911. He doesn't load it until a later scene, however.

Glock 19

The cops are shown to be armed with Glock 19s. Eric (Xavier Salazar), a kid who's a little too street-wise for his age, brandishes one in the end as he intends to find a missing diary. It appears to be the same prop in both scenes.

The officer enters with his Glock and soft drink drawn.

Eric takes a different approach to being a kid detective. He actually racks the slide, and the serial number plate is visible in this shot.

Colt Detective Special, 3rd Gen

Robert (Glenn Kalison) uses what appears to be a 3rd generation Colt Detective Special. There aren't any detailed shots of the revolver, and the appearance fluctuates throughout the film. But in the scenes in which it is fired, it appears to be a Colt DS.

Robert is interrupted by a drunken coworker.

Robert shoots Jason in the shoulder to demonstrate that yes, he is willing to kill them.

The revolver lies on the ground after Charlie tackles Robert.

Unknown revolver

Robert's revolver changes in different scenes. It resembles a Ruger SP101 or a GP100, but SP101s are not blued, and GP100s don't come with anything less than a 3" barrel. It is possible that it is a rubber gun.
