The Mechanic is a 1972 thriller starring Charles Bronson as Arthur Bishop, a professional assassin who takes under his wing Steve (Jan-Michael Vincent), the young son of one of the heads of the organization he works for. A feature film remake starring Jason Statham was released in 2011.

The last assailant takes potshots at the fleeing Steve and Bishop.
After his shotgun runs out, Steve (Jan-Michael Vincent) pulls a Unique BCF-66 during the mountain road shootout. Arthur Bishop (Charles Bronson) also uses one as a backup.
Steve fires and hits an assailant on the mountaintop before he runs dry.
Both Bishop and Steve are seen using Browning Auto-5 shotguns when skeet-shooting.

The assailant falls dead after being hit by Bishop.
In the opening assassination job, Bishop uses a scoped air rifle to shoot the explosive hidden in a book on the victim's book shelf.
