Marcus Luttrell

Marcus Luttrell is a retired US Navy SEAL who wrote about his experiences fighting in Afghanistan during Operation Red Wings in the book Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10, which subsequently was adapted into the 2013 feature film Lone Survivor. Luttrell is portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the film and Luttrell himself has a small role as another SEAL.
