Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a 1997 German crime-comedy / buddy movie. It stars Til Schweiger and Jan Josef Liefers as two men who suffer from terminal illness. The pair decides to go see the ocean before they die, stealing a car in the process, only to find out it belongs to a crime boss.

Abdul (Moritz Bleibtreu) also carries two Walther P88 Compact pistols throughout the film, and dual-wields them on several occasions.
Martin holds the P88 Compact on a shopkeeper.

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

A couple of Curtiz's thugs carry Norinco Type 56-1s during the final shootout with the police.
