Jurassic World: Evolution
Jurassic World: Evolution is a 2018 business management simulation developed by Frontier Developments, serving as a spiritual successor to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. The player's goal is to build Jurassic World theme parks across the fictional Muertes Archipelago (in which Isla Sorna served as the location for the second and third films), Isla Nublar (the setting of the first, fourth, and fifth films), as well as Benjamin Lockwood's Sanctuary (briefly mentioned in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Jeff Goldblum, Bryce Dallas Howard, and B.D. Wong reprise their respective characters from the films, while Owen Grady is voiced by a stand-in actor. In the Return to Jurassic Park DLC, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum return to reprise their respective characters from the original film.
The following guns are seen in the video game Jurassic World: Evolution:
Customized Tranquilizer Rifle
Returning from Jurassic World, a customized tranquilizer rifle is used as the standard issue tranquilizer for ACU and Ranger teams. Unlike the film however, the rifle is depicted a bit more realistically, operating in bolt-action, and with a CO2 canister mounted at the front of the weapon. The film's prop CO2 canister which operated the bolt is still seen mounted into the stock. Similarly to the game's predecessor, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, the player can manually control the teams. In Update 1.12, both the ACU and Ranger teams are able to carry out the same tasks, with Ranger Teams being the riskier choice as dinosaurs who are provoked will attack the vehicles.
M203 Grenade Launcher
The M203 Grenade Launcher was added to the tranquilizer rifle in Update 1.12. It fires 40mm red star flares, which are used to attract (or distract) dinosaurs.
