Gang War in Milan (original title Milano rovente, also released as Burning City) is a 1973 Italian crime movie directed by Umberto Lenzi. It's the first Lenzi's film in poliziottesco genre. The story takes place in Milan where Salvatore "Toto" Cangemi (Antonio Sabato), a local crime boss, wages war againt a French gangster Roger Daverty (Philippe Leroy) who tries to put the city crime world under his rule.

Numerous criminals, both Italian and French, use snub nose revolvers that appear to be Smith & Wesson Model 36.

In the scene when French gangsters ambush Lino Caruso, one of them is armed with a revolver that appears to be a Ruger Blackhawk.

Beretta Model 70

During the attack of a car, used to smuggle a payload of drugs, one of "Toto"'s henchmen is armed with a Beretta M1951. In one scene a police detective uses a Beretta M1951.

Walther P38

Several of "The Captain"'s henchmen carry Walther P38 pistols. In one scene "Toto" Cangemi (Antonio Sabato) holds a suppressed P38.

Submachine Guns

MP40

MP40s are seen in hands of French gangsters during the attack on Cangemi's car. In the final scene several of Billy Barone's henchmen also carry MP40s.
