A mockeup of a BTR-60 from an existing western vehicle. This is a promotional still released by MGM. Three weeks before the release of Red Dawn (1984) a psychopath shot a lot of customers to death in a McDonalds in San Diego CA. In respect to that event, all footage from the film and promotional images showing Cuban and Russian troops at McDonalds restaurants was pulled.
